My history goes back to my name, Solomon, given to me by the Lord through divine encounters with my mother. This name has marked my life with a divine call in building God's eternal house. Solomon means peace, and in peace God's kingdom is built. Jesus' words, "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons and daughters of God" speaks to this truth. King Solomon was given the responsibility to build the Temple in Jerusalem, a shadow of the reality that we are the living temple of God. This call to be part of the eternal building led me to find true fellowship. In my early years, I was part of a church life community where I learned many lessons. It wasn’t just a Sunday experience, but a life lived together under Jesus' headship. Then in 2009, the Lord redirected my life while I was in NYC in a beautiful fellowship (https://manhattangathering.org). In early spring 2009, brother Dana Congdon asked if I would like to serve a man of God named Lance Lambert (https://lancelambert.org). I accepted the opportunity, turning one year into 12 spent in Jerusalem, where I met my wife and our sons were born. I served Lance in his ministry, learned much about discipleship, and enjoyed countless prayer meetings before God. In 2015, 10 years ago, Lance went home to be with the Lord. My wife and I had the privilege to serve him in those last moments and then steward a home fellowship in Jerusalem from 2014-2017. Those 12 years were like a school of Christ, where God formed my family through trials and victories. I can honesty say that this ministry Poor in Spirit has been birthed through the Lord alone. He has equipped us through HIS school from living in church life to those 12 years in Jerusalem. And now what we carry within of Christ we want to pour out into those who are hungry for the depths of this glorious Lord.
